Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Ruslan Zhafiarov, an individual based in Kazakhstan ("we", "us"), the operator of Suits My Skin. By using the app or creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Suits My Skin.
1. Who can use Suits My Skin
You must be at least 18 years old. By using the app you confirm that you are.
2. What Suits My Skin is — and is not
Suits My Skin helps you understand cosmetic products: it reads ingredient lists, compares them with the profile you give it, and suggests how to use products in a routine.
It is not a medical service. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease, and it does not replace a doctor, a dermatologist or a pharmacist. Skin analysis from photos is a cosmetic assessment, not a diagnosis. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a skin condition, take medication or have had a severe reaction, ask a healthcare professional before using a product. Read the Medical Disclaimer.
Product data can be wrong. Ingredient lists come from open databases, data providers and packaging photos; manufacturers change formulas without changing the packaging. Always check the label of the product you actually have, especially if you have an allergy.
Some text is written by AI. It is marked "AI" in the app and may contain mistakes. Read the AI Notice.
3. Your account
- You can sign in with Apple or with Google. You can also use part of the app without an account.
- Keep access to your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Give accurate profile information: the advice depends on it.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. For 30 days you can restore it by signing in again; after that it is erased.
4. Suits My Skin Plus
Some features require a paid subscription, Suits My Skin Plus, or a one-time purchase of Plus "Lifetime".
- Plans: monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, and a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- Payment: charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple under the App Store terms.
- Renewal: a subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
- Cancelling: in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Plus stays active until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds: handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com). If Apple refunds a purchase, Plus ends for that purchase.
- Restoring: "Restore purchases" in the app moves Plus to the account you are signed in with.
- Changes: we may change what Plus includes or its price. A price change for an active subscription follows Apple's rules, which include notifying you in advance.
- Free limits: the free plan includes a limited number of personal checks per month and photo scans per day, shown in the app. We may change these limits.

5. Acceptable use
Do not:
- use the app to break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- try to get around limits, access other people's data, or interfere with the service;
- copy, scrape or resell the catalog or the app's content, or use automated means to access the service;
- reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it;
- upload photos of other people without their permission, or content that is unlawful.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
6. Your content
Photos and information you add remain yours. You give us a licence to store and process them only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your photos to train AI models.
7. Our content and third-party data
The app, its design and texts belong to us. Product data includes material from Open Beauty Facts (ODbL and CC BY-SA), CosIng (European Commission) and our data providers; see Data Sources and Credits.
8. Links to stores
The app may show links to online stores. Some are affiliate links: we earn a commission if you buy. Prices and availability come from the stores and may differ. Your purchase is between you and the store; we are not a party to it. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Suits My Skin available but do not promise it will always work without interruptions or errors. We may change, add or remove features. We will tell you about material changes to these terms in the app; continuing to use it afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Suits My Skin is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties that the information is accurate, complete or suitable for your skin, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for reactions to products you choose to use, or for decisions you make based on the app. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
11. Ending
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, with notice where possible.
12. Law and disputes
